Product Safety & Compliance Notice
This notice covers hardware sourcing, product safety information, regulatory compliance considerations and the fact that NomaPort v1 may use third-party hardware.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
1. Scope
This notice provides product safety, sourcing and compliance information for NomaPort hardware bundles and configured devices. It supplements your order documentation and applicable local regulations.
2. Hardware sourcing
Unless explicitly stated in writing, NomaPort v1 hardware may consist of third-party routers, hotspots or accessories selected for compatibility with our configuration workflow. We configure, test and support the delivered setup but do not claim to manufacture underlying hardware unless clearly labelled as NomaPort-branded manufactured goods.
Model numbers, firmware versions and included accessories may change when equivalent or improved components are available, provided core functionality remains consistent with your order.
3. Intended use
- Portable or fixed secure connectivity for professional and business use.
- Indoor or sheltered outdoor environments within manufacturer operating specifications.
- Use with approved power adapters and cables supplied or specified for your region.
- Operation by trained adult users following setup guides and safety instructions.
4. Electrical and thermal safety
Use only compatible power supplies and local mains voltages. Do not expose devices to water, extreme heat, physical damage or unauthorised modification.
Stop use immediately if you notice overheating, swelling batteries, unusual odours, smoke or damaged cables and contact support.
5. Radio and telecommunications compliance
Wireless and cellular devices may be subject to regional certification requirements. We aim to supply equipment appropriate to your declared shipping country, but you are responsible for verifying local approval, frequency bands, SIM compatibility and registration obligations.
You must not alter radio parameters or install unauthorised firmware that violates regulatory limits.
6. Batteries and transport
Lithium-ion batteries, if present, must be handled according to manufacturer instructions. When travelling by air, follow airline and dangerous goods rules for portable batteries and spare cells.
7. Documentation and markings
Compliance markings, serial numbers and manufacturer labels should remain intact. Product documentation, quick-start guides and safety warnings are provided digitally and/or in the package where applicable.
8. Recycling and disposal
Dispose of electronic equipment and batteries through local e-waste and battery recycling programmes. Do not discard devices in household waste where separate collection is required.
9. Reporting safety issues
Report product safety concerns immediately to hello@nomaport.com with photos, serial numbers and a description of the issue. Serious incidents may also need to be reported to your local product safety authority.
