Last updated: 14 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') defines permitted and prohibited uses of NomaPort products, services, devices, accounts, API access and support channels. It applies to all users, including trial, pilot, subscription and enterprise customers.

Violations may result in warning, suspension, termination, hardware recovery where applicable and referral to authorities where required by law.

2. Permitted use

  • Secure professional or business connectivity for travel, remote work, field operations and team collaboration.
  • Device posture checks, education modules and recommended security workflows for authorised users and devices.
  • Privacy-aware document analysis and AI workflows for lawful business purposes with appropriate data handling.
  • Configuration of supported VPN profiles, secure DNS, backup and communication tools in accordance with provider terms.
  • Reasonable testing and troubleshooting in non-production or approved pilot environments.

3. Prohibited use

You may not use NomaPort to:

  • Violate applicable law, export controls, sanctions, telecommunications rules or third-party terms.
  • Send spam, phishing, malware, denial-of-service traffic or other harmful content.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, networks or data.
  • Bypass usage limits, authentication, billing controls, kill switches or security policies.
  • Share credentials, API keys or device access with unauthorised persons.
  • Operate open proxies, public resale of connectivity or anonymous abuse networks.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights of others.
  • Harass, threaten or discriminate against individuals or groups.
  • Use the service in high-risk environments without appropriate safety measures where hardware is involved.
  • Misrepresent NomaPort affiliation or make false security or compliance claims on our behalf.

4. Connectivity and VPN use

Connectivity features must be used in compliance with local law, carrier terms and our VPN Responsibility Notice. You are responsible for lawful use of VPN tunnels, data plans and routed traffic.

We may restrict or suspend service if we detect abuse patterns, excessive automated traffic, illegal content routing or behaviour that threatens network providers or other users.

5. AI and sensitive data

When using NomaPort AI or related workflows, you must not submit data you are not authorised to process. Follow the AI Data Handling Notice, apply redaction where appropriate and review outputs before relying on them in legal, medical, financial or safety-critical contexts.

6. Team and enterprise responsibilities

Administrators are responsible for onboarding authorised users, enforcing internal policies and revoking access for departed personnel. Organisations must ensure use complies with employment, confidentiality and sector-specific rules.

7. Monitoring and enforcement

We may monitor aggregate usage, security signals and abuse indicators to protect the platform. We do not routinely inspect customer content except as necessary for support you request, security incidents, legal obligations or breach investigation.

If we believe a violation has occurred, we may contact you, request remediation, limit features or terminate affected services.

8. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse or policy violations to hello@nomaport.com. Security issues should be reported under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy at security@nomaport.com.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP as products and legal requirements evolve. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance unless otherwise required by law or contract.

NomaPort reduces common security and privacy risks through secure configuration, guidance and partner-supported workflows. It does not guarantee anonymity, immunity from attack, full legal compliance or complete protection against all threats.
